Welcome Hello an welcome. At Toowoomba Poultry Club Inc we pride ourselves on providing an old style welcome. We a small club in membership but make up for it with heart. We specialise in giving our exhibitors and visitors a warm welcome and a cheery smile. The Club has been opperating contineously now since just after World War 1 and our Members have always been instramental in the running o the Toowoomba Royal Show Poultry Section for as long as I can remember the Toowoomba Poultry Club members have given the Show Society support. This support extended to a large cash donation from the club as well as one of the Toowoomba Club members acting as a show princess contestant with all funds she raised going to the Pavilion Building Fund. The Pavillion was built in 1986 with a very generous donation from a Darling Downs Shed Construction Company "Clearspan". The Club always held 2 shows a year until recent years when rising fuel costs and the increase in shows in the SEQ area ment that the 1st show each year became unviable. The Club now hold one very successful show each year. The Annual Show is always held on the Last Sunday in May each year. |
